The Montréal 1976 Olympics

The Games of the XXI Olympiad were celebrated in Montréal, Québec from July 17 to August 1, 1976. These were the first Olympic Games held in Canada, and the only summer Olympic Games held in Canada to date. 92 nations participated in 196 events across 21 sports, and Canada finished in 27th place overall with five silver medals and six bronze medals.
