The official film of the Montréal 1976 Olympics, "Games of the XXI Olympiad", was produced by the National Film Board of Canada and released in 1977. Broadly, the film is a compilation of highlights from the Olympics, but there is a subtle narrative therein as film crews also follow the journeys of certain competitors. Appearing here on four 16mm reels, the film has a runtime of 117 minutes and was edited down from 100 kilometres of raw film footage.

This hood ornament came from a 1976 GMC C/K-Series Olympic Edition pickup truck. A total of 630 such trucks were produced for sale in Canada. During the same time period, a number of other vehicles were released with an "Olympic Edition" option.

Passenger vehicles in Québec received a red-on-cream licence plate in 1976 featuring the Olympic rings and the province's slogan, "la belle province". Non-passenger vehicles received similar licence plates, but without the Olympic rings. This particular licence plate is a sample and was not issued to a vehicle.
